Family Camp is a place where everyone’s needs matter: - playing - learning - growing - loving - autonomy - safety - respect... It's a place to explore the realm of compassionate strength and connection, starting at home.
Our overall vision is to live with compassion (and have fun!) with our families and each other in a community setting. We'll dip into what it’s like to live in a world where the intention is to contribute to the quality of connection necessary to meet everyone’s needs. We'll explore how we're caring for ourselves, our children and each other, with the intention of deepening our ability to integrate authenticity and love into our daily lives and to build community with other families. We'll support you in being able to extend your experience at camp into your daily lives by fostering the connections you have made.
We have the great fortune again this year of holding Camp at the Family Camp Farmstad on Vashon Island. The farm holds 26 acres of fields, orchards, stream and forests. There's beach access nearby on the shores of Puget Sound and plenty of room to frolic.
Family Camp offers opportunities for:
